I really, really liked this! I didn't read the highlighted bits in the header and I loved the slow build of realizing what was going on. It was the Torren conversation that finally clued me in. Maybe a bit late in the game, but it made for a nice click. :)

I love, love, love the idea that they're just continuing on with their explorer adventures -- and that Rodney is still theorizing! -- it's a beautiful concept.

And! I adore that it was in John's POV. I'm not sure why, but it just works for me. :)
