Well, canonically they are both idiots.

Accurate. <3

...how much more Londo can be hurt on the other side of all his hard-won personal growth—arrived as a joke, leaving as a pariah, and at least the first time around he didn't expect anyone to care. It means commensurately so much more to find someone with him after all, now that he can admit he would want or need them there.

Yes. I will never be over that scene when G'Kar comes to his quarters in the episode, the brittle defensiveness and the fiercely hurt accusations ("when you were pretending to be my bodyguard") and then the way he just sags a little when he finds out that G'Kar didn't come here to be yet another person he cares about throwing evidence at him and going off to testify against him ...

But I think what also gets to me about those relationships is how resilient they turned out to be. After five seasons of putting each other through absolute hell, it's not just Londo and G'Kar, it's all of them, really. It's clear that Londo is _much_ more relaxed and centered in himself after three days on a transport with G'Kar (presumably they did have some long conversations about why and how things went down the way they did), and I really have no doubt that he would have patched things up quickly with Sheridan and Delenn if not for the Drakh situation.
