The idea of Erich sneakily amending his own files and/or slipping his own additions to the intel reports on himself is AMAZING and I am adopting it as personal headcanon immediately. <3 I didn't really intend him to be the one to pass the note, but I love the idea that he did do it because he couldn't stand the idea of Biggles being sad having the wrong impression for too long!
