Oh my god!!! It took me a good fifty pages after the first nailgun death for me to accept that there was ACTUALLY A NAILGUN DEATH, that this really was the kind of book WITH NAILGUN DEATHS IN IT. The first half is SO grounded, and then it just fucking explodes in that last 150 pages. Like. What??????
