Over the last month or so, I've racked up a collection of things to rec and keep not posting them, so since I'm not sleepy yet and it's still almost Thursday, I'll collect a few of those here. Recs - The Expanse

Wonderfully funny, sweet, and in character, and very Torchwood, from the sentient tinsel and someone possibly being run over by a reindeer (or something generally reindeer-like) to the genuinely thoughtful gift exchange.

The team is snowed in and forced to take some down time. Super cute.

Martha meets the team in the apocalyptic reality that was created and erased in Doctor Who's Year That Never Was. Really sweet Gwen-Martha bonding and lovely team dynamics.
Imprisoned bySqutternutbosh (gen team + canon pairings)
Technically part of a season 3 rewrite with Owen & Tosh, but stands alone. Case fic in which Jack is taken over by an entity and tries to kill the team. Enjoyable fic with Owen getting a central hero role.

Playful, short, and fun. The team contemplates a weird alien artifact.

Another cute, light fic with team banter, in which the team tries to figure out how the invisible lift works.
