Jack and Pierce... fascinating idea. I would like to think that both Jack and Peggy, but especially Peggy, would at least have more of an inkling that Pierce isn't who he presents to be, but obviously in canon she didn't figure it out.

(Every time I think about the theory that she mentally deteriorated because HYDRA agents in the nursing home tampered with her meds I get sad and mad, but it would be a great & logical strategy for HYDRA...)
