They've cast their Colleen Wing for the Netflix Defenders shows! (For Star Wars fans, it's the same actress who played Jessika Pava, the female X-Wing pilot.) Which means that, while we may not have Night Wing Investigations yet, we are definitely going to have both Misty AND Colleen in the Marvel TV 'verse, and my inner 10-year-old will now expire quietly of squee in the corner.

Happy that the character is going to appear, a little disappointed that they cast a part-Chinese actress for a part-Japanese character. :| Maybe they'll change her background, though, like they did for Elektra?

That thought had occurred to me too, although I was happy that they cast a biracial actress as a biracial character. But yeah, there's no way to know how close they'll stick to her comics background on the show.
