Yeah, the death in S3? That was really fucking bad. That really changed the show, fundamentally, and I thought it was a bad choice both creatively and in terms of representation. SIGH. And later on, the representation issue just got worse. And then something happened in S4 I really hated. But I finished it anyway....I dunno how I feel about the last truncated season. I feel like I got badly burned with those for Warehouse 13, Fringe, AND Continuum, so I'm not as excited about this as I might be. I think this whole trend of trying to cram endings of shows into 1/2 or 1/3 a season started maybe with....Farscape? Peacekeeper Wars? That wasn't bad, but boy, could you see which five-minute interlude could have been a full episode. Maybe there was something similar before then, but that was when I really noticed the idea of "let's bring it back and at least get an ending."
