Oh ... hmmm, that is an interesting thought! I agree that it wasn't the subtext of the scene, but it would actually fit very well with everything we've seen of him so far. It's also interesting that we've never seen him with a girlfriend on the show, or even expressing interest, aside from things like the "girl at the phone company who'd like to owe me a favor" bit in the first episode, which goes along with the boys' club atmosphere of his workplace and the persona he cultivates.

In any case, while I guess I don't really expect it, I don't think it would be at all out of place with what we've seen so far.
