Summary: In Paris in 1995, two very different immortals try to figure each other out. Written for sfaflashfic's Secrets challenge, for Amnesty Week. (I actually started writing this for the Games challenge a few weeks ago, but since they're doing Amnesty, I shuffled it to fit the Secrets challenge instead - it works better anyway.)
Notes: Er, you probably need some knowledge of both shows' canon to make any sense out of this. In terms of Highlander chronology, this takes place somewhere between 3x16 and the middle of season four. Also, for anyone who might not know, Methos/Adam on Highlander and James Watson on Sanctuary are both played by Peter Wingfield.

In the store this evening, I actually thought about buying a French wine, or something a little fancier than my usual "whatever red wine is on sale when I'm in the mood for wine". In honor of Tesla, of course. *g* In the end, though, I went for my usual Yellowtail cab. I am cheap, and Tesla would NOT APPROVE.

And I wrote Sanctuary fic at sfaflashfic, a new Sanctuary flashfic community. Their very first challenge is "First Times", and I wrote this:

I don't know what's gotten into me, either. *g* I don't really see Sanctuary becoming a big fandom for me, but I'm enjoying it a lot, and now I'm going back to fill in the gaps of my first, Tesla-centric pass through. (I ... might even get around to watching the rest of season one at some point, but I think I'm cherry-picking the better episodes first. I don't usually watch shows this way ... although, having said that, now I'm thinking of all the various times that I have, though usually it was because of catching random episodes on TV prior to downloads, Hulu and Netflix. These days, it's much easier to watch a show straight through from the beginning.)
