Really empathize with you! It's nowhere near as cold here in NYC where I am but I'm home all day and the landlord only sends up heat at set times, i.e., early morning, supper time, late evening, unless the weather goes really cold. Thus I end up sitting here in layers of hoodies and longjohns under sweatpants, but with my feet cold in just socks and slippers!
Don't know if I've mentioned this to you, but just because a story has been "recced all over the place" that doesn't mean it's been recced in a place where I visit! So, if you really like a story, please take the time, if possible, to rec it here on LJ, even with a simple mention, so somebody like me who is not on a million lists and sites might find out about it! I'd really appreciate that!
