It's one of the odd things about ASoIaD - it's taken so long for it to get written that it started out as a TOTAL REVERSAL OF NORMAL GENRE TROPE EXPECTATIONS and now . . . .is one of the canon-setting stories that is part of the creation of genre trope expectations, while still not being finished.
